Staffed Beachfront Villas · Isla Mujeres

A house of your own, run like a fine hotel.

La Colección is the most exclusive way to stay on Isla Mujeres: a whole house on the sand, a chef in its kitchen and a team whose only guests are you — breakfast, lunch and dinner included in every stay.

The three residences share one design and one stretch of beach on the island’s sheltered bay side, each with a heated pool and jacuzzi, a terrace with a grill bar and wood-fired oven, an elevator, kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles. They differ in colour and character — green Casa Ceiba, rose-pink Casa Coral, blue-and-white Casa Azul — and the dock in front of them is yours.

“You arrive by sea. We handle the rest.”

Arrive by Sea · Private Dock

From the airport to your own dock.

The best way in is by water. A private SUV meets you at Cancún International Airport and drives you to the marina; a private yacht crosses the bay and ties up at the residences’ own pier, a few steps from your pool.

The concierge arranges the transfer on request (it is charged separately), along with private boats for the days that follow — or simply take one of the public ferries from Cancún, a 20 to 30-minute crossing.

Isla Mujeres, Mexican Caribbean

An island that still belongs to the sea.

Seven kilometres long and a short crossing from Cancún, Isla Mujeres keeps a pace the mainland lost long ago — golf carts instead of traffic, painted houses, fresh fish and some of the clearest water in Mexico. Travel + Leisure readers voted it one of their five favourite islands in Mexico, Central and South America in 2025.

Playa Norte

The island’s famous north beach: powder-white sand and shallow, glass-clear water you can wade into for a hundred metres.

Punta Sur

The cliffs at the southern tip, the first place in Mexico the sun touches each morning, with sculpture gardens above the surf.

Whale sharks

In summer, the world’s largest fish gather off the island to feed — boats leave from Isla Mujeres to swim beside them.

The underwater museum

MUSA’s submerged sculptures lie in the reef-lined water between the island and Cancún — snorkel or dive among them.

Isla Contoy

A protected bird sanctuary an hour north by boat, where visitor numbers are capped each day, with some of the best snorkelling around.

The town

Colourful streets, small restaurants, a lighthouse and an easy golf-cart ride from the residences.

Three meals a day, cooked in your house.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are part of every stay — not an add-on. Each residence has an executive chef and a cook, and the menus are built around your family before you land.

Mornings bring fresh juices, café de olla and a breakfast special of the day — cochinita tacos, huevos motuleños, panuchos. Lunch might be a ceviche bar, a taco bar or a pizza workshop at the wood-fired oven; dinner moves from Italian to Caribbean to an à la carte night. The General Manager confirms tomorrow’s menu with you each evening, and nothing is fixed.

Its layout is the collection's most generous at ground level: a living room under an arched mural, an indoor dining room with a bar, a terrace with the grill bar and wood-fired oven, the palapa, a gym, a laundry and a multifunctional room that works as a seventh bedroom, a massage room or an office.

Upstairs, two king suites and four rooms with two queen beds each look out to the sea or the lagoon, and an elevator connects every floor — easy for grandparents and small children alike.

Good to Know

Questions, answered.

Either. Casa Ceiba, Casa Coral and Casa Azul are rented individually — six bedrooms each, for up to 12 guests at the base rate and 16 at most — or together as a full buyout of La Colección Residences: 18 ocean-view bedrooms for up to 36 guests at the base rate and 48 at most, side by side on the same beach with one shared dock.

Exclusive use of the residence and three meals a day cooked in the house by its chef — breakfast, lunch and dinner at times you confirm — plus light snacks between meals, soft drinks and national beers. Also included: a concierge, a dedicated staff in each house (chef, cook and a waiter-bartender from 8 am to 10 pm), daily housekeeping with evening turndown, beach assistance during the day, 24-hour security, kayaks, paddleboards, bicycles and the private dock. Laundry is on request and returned within 24 hours.

Soft drinks and national beers are included. The optional House Bar adds wine with every meal, sunset cocktails, spirits, coffee and water for US$60 per adult per day (children free), and a cellar of wines is available by the bottle. Food and beverage extras carry 16% VAT and a 10% service charge.

Before you arrive you share preferences, allergies and timings and choose the week's menus together — Mexican breakfasts, signature lunches such as a ceviche bar, a taco bar or a pizza workshop, and dinners from Italian to Caribbean. The General Manager confirms the next day's menu with you every evening, and a children's menu is always available. Special dinners on the beach, the terrace or the garden — a Yucatecan grill, a Mexican night or a steakhouse — are included too; only special decoration is charged.

You arrive by sea. The concierge can arrange a private SUV from Cancún International Airport to the marina and a private yacht across the bay straight to the residences' own dock, on request and at an additional cost. Alternatively the public ferries cross from Cancún in about 20–30 minutes.

Each residence has six bedrooms — two king suites and four rooms with two queen beds — plus a multifunctional room and a family room with a sofa bed. The rate covers 1 to 12 guests per house; additional guests are US$200 per night (children US$100), up to 16 per house. A buyout of all three takes up to 48 guests.

Three nights in most of the year, four nights from 4 January to 30 April 2027 and over Easter, and six nights over Christmas and New Year (19 December – 3 January).

Accommodation rates are in US dollars and carry 21% taxes and destination charges plus a 5% service charge. Food and beverage extras carry 16% VAT and 10% service.

Yes. Day guests beyond 12 per house are US$180 per person, for up to 10 additional guests, with prior confirmation. Special dinners, live music (mariachis, trios, DJ), decoration and extra furniture can be arranged; for a wedding or a large event, take all three residences and tell us the plan.

Private boat and yacht charters, island excursions, massages, yoga, meditation, sound therapy and personal trainers, cooking, mixology and ceramics classes, kids' workshops, nannies, extra security, translators, lifeguards and extra golf carts — all on request, at an additional cost.

The residences face the Bahía de Mujeres, the sheltered bay between the island and Cancún, so the water in front is usually calm and clear — kayaks and paddleboards go straight off the beach or the dock. As with the whole Caribbean, seasonal sargassum can arrive with warmer currents.

The residences were designed by Artigas Arquitectos and developed by Grupo Artila; each house is operated by a hospitality team with luxury-hotel experience. Villa Experience markets the collection and handles your reservation from first question to arrival.

Send your dates, the residence or residences you want and the number of guests. Rocío at Villa Experience confirms availability with the property and replies with a full quote within one business day.
